Wolf Road is the busiest commercial corridor in the Albany area and Central Avenue is lined with lots. If you live in Colonie you can walk into a dozen dealerships without leaving the town, which makes the question here different from anywhere else we serve: not "who is nearby", but "what am I actually comparing".
The honest comparison is reconditioning. Most used inventory is bought at auction, cleaned, and priced. Ours goes through a 151-point process in our own shop before it is listed, which is why we are willing to put a lifetime engine limited warranty on qualifying vehicles. That is the difference the sticker does not show, and it is worth twenty minutes to look at directly.
A family-owned independent, not a franchise store
Most of what is on Wolf Road belongs to a franchise group. We have been family-owned on the same road since 1955, which changes the incentives: there is no manufacturer quota to hit at the end of a month, and no reason to move a car we would not stand behind. It also means the person who sells you a car is likely to still be here when you come back.
