The cars that have been here longest. Same 151-point reconditioning as everything else on the lot — we are simply more motivated than we were the day they arrived.

Fogg's Automotive's clearance vehicles are the cars that have been on our lot the longest — currently those here 120 days or more. Nothing about the car changes while it sits: every one cleared the same 151-point reconditioning before it was listed, and the same lifetime engine limited warranty applies on qualifying vehicles. What changes is us. A vehicle that has not found its buyer is one we are readier to deal on, and that is the whole offer.
Updated daily as vehicles arrive and sell — every one reconditioned before it was listed.
A car does not get worse by waiting. We just get keener.
Vehicles sit for ordinary reasons — a colour most people walk past, a trim level nobody searched that month, or simply that the right buyer has not walked in yet. None of those are faults, and none of them are things reconditioning would have fixed. The work was done before it was listed; the time since is ours to carry, not yours.
Why vehicles sit, what it does and does not tell you, and how to use it.
No, and this is the question worth answering plainly. Every vehicle on this page cleared the same 151-point reconditioning in our own shop before it was listed — tires, brakes, fluids, belts and any scheduled service that was due. A car that has been here 120 days had that work done 120 days ago and has been sitting on a lot since, which is the easiest life a used car will ever have. Cars sit because of colour, trim and timing far more often than anything mechanical. If you want it checked anyway, we will put it on a lift and walk you through it — we do that for cars people are buying from other sellers, so we are certainly going to do it for one of ours.

The reconditioning happened before it was listed — the time since is just a car sitting still.

Generally, yes — and you can see it happen. A vehicle that has not moved gets looked at again, and when we reduce it the card shows the previous price struck through with the reduction beside it. Our pricing is not a negotiation dressed up as a sticker; the number on the card is the number. What a long stay buys you is a dealership with a reason to sharpen that number, and a trade-in or finance conversation where we have more room to work with.

Some of them are cars nobody has asked for yet, which is a different thing. A lot our size turns over most of its inventory inside a couple of months, so what is left is usually specific rather than deficient — a wagon when everyone wanted an SUV, a colour that photographs poorly, a trim that is genuinely better but does not search well. If your requirements are a little unusual, this page is often where you will find the car nobody else was competing for.

Colour and trim decide what sits far more often than condition does.

Yes, on exactly the same terms as anything else we sell. Financing here is arranged through banks and credit unions across every credit tier, including applicants rebuilding credit — it is not in-house lending and it is not buy-here-pay-here. Pre-approval uses a soft pull and does not affect your score. A longer-standing vehicle often makes the numbers easier rather than harder: a lower price is a smaller amount to finance.

A lot this size turns over most of its inventory within a couple of months, so what is left after 120 days is rarely what is wrong with it. It is colour, it is trim, it is a body style that was out of fashion the month it landed, and it is the simple arithmetic that a specific car needs a specific buyer to walk in.
None of that is something reconditioning would have fixed, because none of it is a fault. The 151-point work was done before the vehicle was listed, and a car parked on a lot is having the easiest life it will ever have — no commute, no winter salt, no potholes.
Two things. The price gets looked at again, and when it moves you can see it move — the card shows the previous figure struck through with the reduction beside it, because our pricing is a number rather than an opening position.
And the conversation is easier. A vehicle that has been here a while is one we have more room on, which matters most when the rest of the deal is tight: a trade-in that needs to stretch, or a payment that has to land under a particular figure.

No. They were reconditioned to the same standard as everything else before they were listed, and the time since has been spent parked rather than driven. Cars sit for reasons of colour, trim and timing far more often than anything mechanical. If you want one checked anyway, we will put it on a lift and walk you through it.
Our prices are set rather than opened, so the number on the card is the number. What a longer stay buys you is a dealership with more reason to sharpen it, and more room in the trade-in and financing conversation around it.
Yes, on exactly the same terms. The Fogg's For Life lifetime engine limited warranty is included at no extra cost on qualifying used vehicles under 85,000 miles, and how long a vehicle has been on the lot has no bearing on whether it qualifies.
Yes. Financing here is arranged through banks and credit unions across every credit tier, including applicants rebuilding credit — it is not in-house lending and it is not buy-here-pay-here. Pre-approval uses a soft pull and does not affect your score. A lower-priced vehicle is a smaller amount to finance, which usually makes an approval easier rather than harder.
